Challenge
The owner was answering the same five customer questions on WhatsApp and Instagram from 8am onwards — often while arranging orders. She needed to be present for customers without being constantly interrupted.
What we did
We collected her most frequent questions, drafted clear and warm responses, and set up an AI chat helper connected to her WhatsApp Business account. The whole setup took one initial session and three days of testing.
Outcome
Customer enquiries handled by the helper: around 70% of incoming messages. The owner reports she now answers WhatsApp once in the evening instead of throughout the day. One review described her service as "much more responsive."

A catering business in Puchong

Challenge
The owner managed part-time staff across three weekly shifts. Confirming rosters was entirely manual — a chain of WhatsApp messages that frequently ran into the evening before the week began.
What we did
We mapped the scheduling process, identified the confirmation steps that were taking the most time, and connected a simple automated reminder tool to the existing group chat. We also set up order summary reminders for event-day preparation.
Outcome
Roster confirmation now arrives by Monday morning with no manual chasing. The owner estimates she reclaims about three hours per week across scheduling and order prep checks. Two of her staff now help manage the system themselves.

Challenge
The centre had three years of student attendance and payment records across two different systems. The owner could not easily answer basic questions about which classes were growing, which were declining, or how revenue compared term-on-term.
What we did
Wei Lin reviewed both data sources, agreed with the owner on the six metrics that mattered most, and built a connected dashboard that updates automatically. The owner was included in every design decision about what to show.
Outcome
The owner now spends about four minutes on Monday morning reviewing the previous week. She used the dashboard to decide to run an additional Saturday morning class, which has since filled. She requested a monthly review session, which she finds useful for term planning.
